Rupa Roy is a final year Undergraduate Fashion Technology Student. The team at WLCI wanted an insight on Student feedback so we asked her to share her views. 

Roy was asked about her experience with the college. Her claim is that as she walked in through the doors, all her doubts were clear. She was aware that her decision would be fruitful in terms of memories and experiences. 

As we bid her adieu, all of her hopes and dreams have been successfully met. In her words, “Although it’s been three years now but I still feel like it was yesterday when I came to WLCI College and made so many memories”.

As Rupa is leaving our nest, she has many avenues waiting for her. Over the years we have nurtured and groomed her to be accept life’s challenges. Her parting words were, “I don’t usually get bad grades but whenever I do, I take it as a Motivation! I believe that Failure Leads to Success ”.

WLCI Commemorates Prabal Gurung

Indian Designer Prabal Gurung has been approached by the cosmetic giant M.A.C to design a winter make-up line, drawing upon his Nepalese-mountain heritage and will hit the stores around pre-winter this year.

Prabal has often talked of his mountain roots and its pristine natural surroundings. This time he hopes to bring this freshness into his line of make-up collection.

China has done it again!

The country is trying to overtake everyone else in the technology field. Going at a speed of lightening -33.86 petaflops (quadrillions of calculations per second), China's Tianhe-2 is the world's fastest computer for the third year in a row. Hina's Tianhe-2 was built by National University of Defense Technology.

Is WLC Teaching Auditing

Auditing is the independent assessment of a company’s financial statement by a third party organization presented to the management or board of the company and that gives the top-management the true-financial overview or picture of the company. It is performed by competent, independent body known as auditors or accountants, who then issue an auditor's report based on the results of the audit. 

All financial organizations or business ventures requires to be audited to maintain their financial health and hygiene. Thus those of you thinking of pursuing a course in Finance, Auditing can be a good career option. Many B Schools as well different financial institutes offer courses in -Auditing.

The Auditor has to work diligently, honestly and check all aspects of finance to come to a transparent conclusion and report on the company’s financial blue-print.
