Teachers are the source of true enlightment in our lives

Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills, and values from one generation to another. We in India have been pioneers in the field of education right from the Vedic period when the Gurukul system was highly prevalent.

In the current education scenario, teachers in educational institutions direct the education of students and might draw on many subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and history. This process is called schooling when referring to the education of teaching only a certain subject, usually as professors at institutions of higher education.Teachers are the ones who make a difference in the lives of students. Rousing students from their apathy and watching their curiosity grow is one of the best rewards of teaching.

To become a teacher one requires dedication, perseverance and patience. He/She must have the ability to communicate well, a deep passion for the subject one handles. Most importantly - A teacher has to be a friend, philosopher, and guide for his/her students.

Career Counseling can help in deciding right career option

For over years, Indian education system limits itself to engineering, accounting, medical, finance or any other conventional courses. These above mentioned education streams are considered to be on the safest side, which assures bright professional career. Over stuffing of people has brought a saturation point in these professions. With everyone opting for medical, engineering and accounting, the value and credibility of these professions has also gone down in the recent years. This is mostly because of the social taboos and self limitations. No one dares to go beyond traditional education and thus end up falling in the same pond.

Another important factor that contributes to this is the ignorance and level of knowledge about different booming careers and education. A common phenomenon that is observed in Indian students is that they follow to others rather than putting their own brains. There are a lot of streams like fashion designing, marketing management, animation, hair dressing, advertising, graphic designing, aviation and many others, which has shown tremendous potential in recent times. Not in terms of vocational courses, but as full fledged courses and ensure successful professional career.

Owing to technological advancements, students in metro cities have understood the importance of new age education and have started experimenting with it. They are taking up new challenges and are ready to withstand career risks. But the situation lies still the same in the interiors of India. There people still stick with traditional education and go for picking up ever available options. Considering the mind set of students falling in this category has to be changed. Career counseling is one of the most appropriate ways to guide right direction to a student. Through career counseling, the doubts and misconception can be resolved and can provide a child with best of the advices. They can also be informed about the growth, scope and prospects of new education and career options and can be encouraged to go beyond commercialized streams. Students’ right after their 10th class board examinations should seek for career counseling as it will help them in taking an appropriate decision  right at the onset of their career.

Lets come face to face..social networking!

Not long time, we talking about some five to six years back that social media sites came into existence and brought drastic changes in social interaction. Earlier, people preferred face to face interaction rather than facebook interaction. With advent of social media networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Skype and many others, it is now possible for you to stay in touch with your friends and relatives wherever and whenever you want. Geographical differences are no more a constraint for anyone.

I often hear people grumbling to their near and dear ones for not keeping any contact. In this busy life style, it is rather very difficult to take out time for social meetings and gatherings. Specially people working in business management organizations and corporates have no time to spend with their family, friends and relatives. Concerning their issue, came social media networking sites and made things easier for everyone. Now people are just a click away. Social networking has made it possible to keep you always on, be it any time of the day of night.

Online social networking has helped a lot of people to find out their old friends, who are not in touch any more. Social media is good from not only personal point of view but also from professional point of view. Professionals can organize webinars and are not required to fly here and there to attend meetings and other official gatherings. Thanks to this new age technology, which has helped in reducing differences, every which way.

Entrepreneurship is a better way out in this competitive world

If you are planning on starting your own venture then there are a few things I would like to emphasize to you before you proceed. Working for an organization has more than a few rewards attached, one being the monetary side. A guaranteed salary at the end of the month gives you a stable and reliable income that you can count on. The other main reward of working for an employer is the fact that you can finish work at the end of the day and go back to the house and forget about it. The down sides of working for a boss if it can really be defined as a draw back is the fact that your income are always going to be constrained.

Being self employed can carry a lot of advantages, you have the prospect of earning a lot more than if you would working for a firm or employer you can literally dictate your own wage.Lots of people are under the impression that working for yourself is a walk in the park, and yes it does have quite a few of rewards but there are a few extremely important points that you should know about before you think about handing your resignation in. Working for yourself need strength of will and motivation in order to make your enterprise work. One of the hardest parts of being self employed is keeping the money coming in, your clients are the most important part of your enterprise, the people that pay your salary.

After learning all this, if you still believe that you are those who would want to take this challenge as the way for your life, then you need to go by planning. The best is that you can enroll yourself in any of the business management programmes, wherein you can learn required skills and knowledge so as to handle the business properly.

Ethics in education...anybody listening??

Dictonary defines ethics as "the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture." If you look around at the society to see who are those individuals who are held up as the examples to our children, it becomes obvious that we are driving our country into and ethical or moral collapse.

This begs the question that whatever is taught in the schools, colleges, universities and indeed all these business management schools is actually helping them to learn desired code of conduct. The reality of today's world is that children spend more time in their educational places rather than their own homes. That is why education must live up the expectations.

What is it we really want teachers to do? In order to achieve this, they must first understand the values in the society and learn to live within the margins of the behaviors expected of them. Many times it falls upon the teachers to instill these values, not because the parents do not want to provide these values to their children, but because they are many times working two jobs, single parents, or face other obstacles that prevent them from doing that which in the past fell to them. As a result, shouldn't we as a society value these individuals, who attend universities, and then for as little pay as the governments in their areas can get away with paying them dedicate their lives to helping all the children within a society? What ethics are we showing them if we tell our children that their teachers are "failures?" Are we as a society dooming our children to live within a society without any moral standards

Decide on your priority?

Have u decided on your priority?
Those large dollar signs are often hard to resist, especially early in a career. In fact, people in the first five to 10 years of their careers are more likely to make a job decision based exclusively on compensation. While it is important to be compensated fairly for your work, money does not deserve to be your number one priority. If your only focus is on the bottom line of your paycheck, you are neglecting other important factors in deciding your next career move.

Think of your career as an investment. If you have the position that you have always wanted – one that offers good compensation for the work and the right mix of benefits to fit your career needs, then its worth making investment in that opportunity. Once you are on the job, look for long-term growth opportunities and the possibility for mentorship, these factors are always to be kept in mind. Take advantage of such opportunities. Typically, such opportunites are offered to those professionals who have documented successes over a period of time, share them in a professional way, and can demonstrate a commitment to the business management organization.

There always will be better-paying jobs out there. But there are few jobs that will be a right fit for your individual balance of needs. If you are a job candidate who is willing to look past the paycheck, you often can find a better overall position – one that satisfies your values, work ethic and lifestyle as well as one that pads your pocketbook.

Understanding the importance of the above said very important lines, business management schools keep this as a part of their cutting edge training programmes so that students are never misguided and take tthe right path in the very initial years of their career.

Corelation of Education and Technology

Technological advancements are intended to bring far reaching improvements in present day educational system. Today, we cant even imagine anything without technology infused in it. The never ending benefits of technology has contributed majorly in its increased popularity and demand. It focuses 0n facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological resources. Indian women are the largest victimc of education discrimation

As, we all know that education is the basis for growth and development of not just an individual but of the community and the country at large. But, talking about Indian scenario, this statement still does not hold true. Indian woman still remains the largest victim of discrimination on the basis of her right to education and freedom.

Reciting the famous lines"Educate a man and you educate an individual, educate a woman and you educate a family" which actually holds true sense in Indian context. But people still haven't accepted the importance of these lines. The ignorance still continues. There are several major factors, which are made responsible for poor growth rate of women education. Firstly, there is a lack of number of schools and colleges near by the residential areas in villages, towns and tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Girls are often not sent to far off places due to safety reasons. Secondly, lack of proper public transport also has hampered the mobility of women from one place to another. Since, no public transport is available and the schools are located at far off locations, so both the things put a check on women education.

Other than these. early marriage is yet another reason, due to which girls have to leave their school or college and settle down with the household stuff. Last but not the least, women are also discriminated on the basis of discrimination. Society keep girls away from education taking support of religious issues. Considering the above stated factors, it is very sad to say that, where a woman has reached to moon, our girls still remain in those unknown streets. Where there government talks about higher management education, our girls have not been to schools also. This is the high time that we all should take our stand and extend a hand to help our girls come out of this mud.

Try out your creativity in Copy Writing Business

Copywriting is a field that stems out from Advertising industry wherein a copywriter gives birth to a new concept which influences the target audience to positively subscribe to a product, concept or a service. In a narrow sense the word “copy” means a printed / painted message or a spoken dialogue to convey information of the product to target audience. Copywriting is the craft where a copywriter has to market or promote a product, business, person or an idea by his ability to craft his creativity powered work. There are several opportunities to grow in the Advertising agencies as a copywriter and various hierarchical levels needs to be eventually cleared in order to work at the most senior most position as a copywriting director.

A copywriter is a very important person in the creation of the Ad. A copywriter does not work alone and has to work in tangent with other creatively inclined people in an ad agency such as Graphic designers, Art directors and Visualizers. Copywriters are provided with a written brief where in a whole lot of potential information about the target audience to whom the product should appeal is mentioned. The brief has to be specific in its view after comparing it to the product of the competitors. A copywriter’s job should not be confused with that of a copy editor.

As a copywriter you can choose to work in a variety of promotional media such as the internet, television radio etc .You can also choose work as a freelancer. Copy writing can be studied as a part of advertising courses, which are offered by almost all management colleges in India these days.

Seeking for truth..Check out with alumni

Out of thousand ways, here are some relevant steps that might help in deciding the right college for yourself. To start with, the very first step is to find out what the current and former students have to say about their college. In simpler words, check out college reviews from its own alumni. Believe me, this is would never give take you to a wrong decision.

Take my suggestion, for the feedback techniques. Among the most important factors about any management college is its placements record and student’s review. College Alumni is the only way, which gives you the actual figures of an institution. You visit a college thousands time, but it is likely to happen that every time, they will show the fake figures and will not tell the truth. That's the reason that most of professional colleges are showing their inclination towards concerting on their alumni board. They are extending their assistance to their students, even after they have passed out from the college. In this way, they are able to maintain their long term image with its students.

I think, alumni of any college has  a very important role to play in any institute. With the growing importance, even alumni are realizing their responsibility and showing their great interest in fulfilling their job role efficiently.

Multitasking is a boon in today's competitive world

Once i read.."If you can’t ride two horses at once, you shouldn’t be in the circus." That time, i was a student, so didnt understand much of its reference in real and practical world. Now, when i have stepped out to struggle myself a place, i can relate to those lines. Today, every hook and corner of this world is so very crowded that nobody bothers for your existence.

Some times, i wish if i could clone myself to produce ten more of me so that i could do accomplish all my tasks efficiently and that too on time. And the thing is it’s easy to become distracted. Sometimes we welcome distractions to avoid doing something we don’t want to do or deal with. Having a natural curiosity to learn new things can get in the way of staying focused.

The never ending demands of management courses has created the need for multi tasking. Today, i some body can not handle five tasks at a single point of time, they are actually lost. So, this is the high time that we pull up our socks and get ready to run with the crowd.
