Indian women are the largest victimc of education discrimation

As, we all know that education is the basis for growth and development of not just an individual but of the community and the country at large. But, talking about Indian scenario, this statement still does not hold true. Indian woman still remains the largest victim of discrimination on the basis of her right to education and freedom.

Reciting the famous lines"Educate a man and you educate an individual, educate a woman and you educate a family" which actually holds true sense in Indian context. But people still haven't accepted the importance of these lines. The ignorance still continues. There are several major factors, which are made responsible for poor growth rate of women education. Firstly, there is a lack of number of schools and colleges near by the residential areas in villages, towns and tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Girls are often not sent to far off places due to safety reasons. Secondly, lack of proper public transport also has hampered the mobility of women from one place to another. Since, no public transport is available and the schools are located at far off locations, so both the things put a check on women education.

Other than these. early marriage is yet another reason, due to which girls have to leave their school or college and settle down with the household stuff. Last but not the least, women are also discriminated on the basis of discrimination. Society keep girls away from education taking support of religious issues. Considering the above stated factors, it is very sad to say that, where a woman has reached to moon, our girls still remain in those unknown streets. Where there government talks about higher management education, our girls have not been to schools also. This is the high time that we all should take our stand and extend a hand to help our girls come out of this mud.
